Custom magazines connect people with your Diocese or organization
As recently as the 1980s, 50 percent of registered Catholic parishioners attended weekly Mass. Now, fewer than 25 percent of registered parishioners do so. This statistic alone compels us to find avenues to reach and inspire Catholics. Magazines – along with digital content that can be used and shared – are a uniquely effective tool for evangelization.

Case study: Diocesan newspaper versus diocesan magazine
To test the effectiveness of print publications in one diocese, the staff produced a newspaper one month; the next month, it published a magazine produced by the same staff. Both publications were mailed to every Catholic home for more than a year.
A readership survey found that 11% more people were interested in the magazine over the newspaper, and 15% were more likely to read every issue of the magazine over the newspaper. Further, when compared to using the FAITH Catholic format, which can be 100% local, there was a 21% greater interest in a magazine over a newspaper. |

FAQs about custom publishing
Do magazines work?In the Internet age, the number of magazines and the reach of magazines are growing. The number of newspapers and the reach of newspapers are declining. In the past decade, the circulation of diocesan newspapers in the U.S. has declined by more than 1.5 million. But, the number and reach of diocesan magazines has led to the overall growth of the diocesan press. Despite what you might think, almost all young people read magazine media. Magazines have a longer shelf-life than newspapers and stay on coffee tables and in doctor’s offices. They are more likely to be shared, kept and re-read over and over. |

What is content evangelization?Content evangelization is the idea that Catholics can use content to become better equipped to evangelize. Magazine content educates, forms and inspires Catholics to grow as disciples. But Catholics need something to evangelize with. We help you create content that Catholics want to share.
