Our historyFAITH began in 2000 as a magazine for the Diocese of Lansing, and in 2003, began publishing for other dioceses and Catholic organizations. In 2009, FAITH merged with the diocese’s 40-year-old liturgical publisher, Liturgical Commission Publishings, to form FAITH Catholic. Today, we’re the nation’s largest publisher of Catholic magazines, with 60 publications for Catholic dioceses and organizations that reach 2.4 million households. We’re also a full-service integrated marketing and digital services company, creating websites, marketing strategies, advertising campaigns and more on behalf of entities within the Church.
FAITH Catholic also hosts and operates Masstimes.org, a powerful tool for travelers to locate a church and Mass near them. FAITH Catholic is committed to proclaiming faithfully the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in fidelity to the magisterium of the Catholic Church. |
Why does FAITH exist?FAITH publications are a powerful response to Pope St. John Paul II’s call for a new evangelization. In the 1980s, 50 percent of registered Catholic parishioners attended weekly Mass. Now, fewer than 18 percent of registered parishioners do so. This statistic alone compels us to find avenues to reach and inspire Catholics. Magazines – along with digital content that can be used and shared – are a uniquely effective tool for evangelization. |
Our approachFAITH Catholic is the leader in content evangelization – the practice of producing and sharing stories, photos, videos and other material for the purpose of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and building up the Church. We make it easy for Catholics to evangelize with your content by sharing it with others. We help you to:
