GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERNSHIP (PAID)
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? Depending on your design strengths and active projects, you may be asked to:
Sometimes we want your most creative concepts, big thinking, and shared ideas! Other times, we just need you to make text revisions and update old design files. Maximum 15 hours a week of your time during one semester, paid. DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Student interns should be professional, competent in Adobe Creative Suite programs (in particular InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office programs; be able to take direction and work independently; and demonstrate strong organization, written, verbal and communication skills. GRAPHIC DESIGNER
JOB DESCRIPTION Located in Lansing MI, FAITH Catholic Publishing and Communications is America's largest publisher of Catholic magazines. We are an award-winning, non-profit company that publishes magazines and provides creative design services to Catholic organizations throughout the United States. We are looking for an experienced graphic designer comfortable with publication design and excellent communication and customer service skills. Equipment provided. Web and illustration skills are a plus. Two years of design experience or a Bachelor’s degree is required. As a designer for FAITH, you will join our creative team of more than 10 designers, be able to get your work published and build experience.
